Or does it ask why you haven’t called?

Several weeks ago I started to share my goal setting strategy and the steps I use with clients to help them reach their goals. The next step in that process is to set a regular schedule.

Here’s a quick recap.

First, you must be crystal clear about what you want.

Second, you must know why the goal is important to you.

Third, is to identify repeatable actions to reach your goal. What are you willing to do?

Now the next step, is to commit to a set schedule for completing those actions described in step three.

In my experience, reaching a goal is about creating habits that will move you closer to it each day.

So, if your goal is to get out and make new friends, then you must commit to attending a social event or gathering on a regular basis. Say, once or twice a month.

The best way to make sure this happens, is to schedule an appointment on your calendar in advance and commit to it. Just like you would schedule a hair appointment or date with a friend.
