As a coach who works with clients on goal setting strategy, I’m constantly asking if a person’s goals are written down on paper.
It’s habit of mine. When someone says, sure I’ve got goals, or yeah I know what my goals are; I can’t help but wonder if they are on paper and how often they review them.
Whenever I start a new client, the first thing we do is to clarify their goals and get them down on paper.
