Now, on to Step 3 of the Success Habit strategy found in my book The Success Habit Secret.
Once you have written down what you want and why, start a list of activities that you can do to reach your goal. Of course, these activities will be different depending on the area of your lifestyle you are working to change or improve.
Be creative think of as many activities as you can and write them down. This will give you a variety to choose from as you are working towards your goal. Have fun with it.
-If you have a health goal think about all the things that you can do for exercise, like biking, hiking or swimming.
-If it is a relationship goal, think about the types of dates that you could create, or maybe new topics for conversation.
Step 2: Identify repeatable actions necessary to reach the goal.
– Do you have a large list of activities that you can choose from?
– Can you really see yourself doing those things on your list?
– Are the activities fun and interesting to you?
Remember, these activities can be fun if you are creative and use your imagination!
“Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.” – Tom Landry
If you have trouble coming up with a large list, ask your friends to help. Or send me an email and I’d be happy to send you some ideas.
I wish for you all the success that you strive to achieve.
Sincerely,
