Well, it’s time to get back to the 7 steps of my Seven Step Goal Setting Strategy and how you can use it to reach your goals.
First, a quick recap of the previous steps.
— Step 1: You must be crystal clear about what you want.
— Step 2: Know why the goal is important to you.
— Step 3: Identify repeatable actions to reach your goal.
— Step 4: Commit to a set schedule for completing those actions.
— Step 5: Commit to your plan for at least 21 days.
— Step 6: Review your goal plan at least 3 times every day.
STEP 7: Speak the answers to steps 1 and 2 aloud as you review them.
– Have you ever heard a speaker who stirred your emotions?
– Have you ever been inspired by a speech that made you take action?
– Have you ever felt the charge when a loved one said to you, I Love You?
The emotional charge of the spoken word is a strong compelling trigger.
Be Your Motivational Speaker
Speak out loud the specifics of your goals and the emotional reasons they are important to you as often as you can. You can become what you think about if you act on what you talk about.
