We are reviewing the seven steps of the Success Habit Secret and the first step is to define what you want.

Step 1. Clearly Identify the specifics of the goal
To reach a goal you have to know what it is. This sounds simple but the truth is that many of us don’t really have a clear picture of exactly what we want. To be a good marksman you have to know what the target is to hit it, and it is always harder to hit a moving target.

Be specific about your goal. If you want a different job, describe the work, the office, your coworkers, your manager. If you want better health, describe your weight, your clothing sizes, your exercise routine.

The mind is a very good marksman, but you have to be specific. The clearer you can identify and visualize the details of a goal the greater the chance you’ll reach it.
