My Seven Step Goal Setting Strategy follows the old saying, “Do something for 21 days and it becomes a habit.”
So the next step I want to review is about using consistency and time to create the Habit of Success for reaching your goals.
But first, here’s a quick recap.
Step 1: You must be crystal clear about what you want.
Step 2: Know why the goal is important to you.
Step 3: Identify repeatable actions to reach your goal.
Step 4: Commit to a set schedule for completing those actions.
Now, on to step 5: Commit to your plan for at least 21 days.
As the saying goes, “Do something for 21 days and it will become a habit.”
But the real power of this habit building tactic comes from consistently and passionately taking action over and over again.
Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect. -Vince Lombardi
